I love organization, paper, and journals so I was instantly intrigued by the bullet journals popping up on Pinterest. People use them for everything from regular journals to planners to a way of tracking goals. With the distinctive graph paper pages, I'm most intrigued by the goal tracking! However, I've never really tracked goals in this way before and I can sometime be fickle and lose interest so I decided I would much rather make my own bullet journal to test the waters.
I followed my own tutorial for making a notebook (merely adding a piece of cardstock for the cover). The graph paper was easy to make by printing a couple of pages for free from the internet then making double sides copies. I liked the margins in case I need to make any notes (like what symbols I might use mean).
Cover paper and graph paper trimmed down to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Stacked all together and folded in half
Poking guide holes for the needle and thread
Sewing that signature! The cover is sewn on at the same time as one of the "pages"
Ta da!
All ready to start tracking those goals!
Do you use a bullet journal? How do you use yours? Let me know in the comments! And be on the lookout for a follow-up of how I'm using mine and whether or not this organizational trend works for me!
