We interrupt your regularly scheduled Wellness Wednesday to bring you:
Yes, you read that correctly: 14 days of love from me to you! I know people have some pretty strong feelings about this holiday. I do too. And that feeling is: just have fun with it. Does it matter where you are in a relationship or if you are between relationships? Does it matter if it's the excuse so many companies use to sell candy hearts and teddy bears? No! Just enjoy the moment and look for chances to spread love and happiness around. We could all use more of those things.
So what do you get out of all this? Check back every single day because I will have a new post waiting for you. Some of the posts have gifts for you, some have gifts you can give others, and some are just there. Let's get this started!
With a vintage feel and black and white graphics, this will accommodate any copier and be completely gender neutral. I also carefully kept them from being saucy (which was easy enough, although there were some vintage temptations) or sarcastic (much harder for me. Hey! You try looking at a vintage woodcut of someone running with a knife and see if you don't want to caption it "I've been hugged").
Ready to hug a couple of neighbors or coworkers? Just print out the home or work version, make copies, and slide them into a small box or bag with some nibbles or other goodies. Keep in mind: this shouldn't be a pricey endeavor! Next, covertly leave them where your neighbors or work mates will find them and feel the love! Now go forth and make everyone love your hugs!
And see you tomorrow for Day 2 of my 14 Days of Love series!
