A photo a day. I did that back in October and loved it. I felt like I really grew and I felt like my photos had a purpose. I was excited to pick up the camera and set aside a few minutes to take a walk, study the world around me, and follow it up later with efforts to improve my speed and abilities in Photoshop.
As I'm sure you've no doubt guessed from the title and the direction this entry is taking, I have decided that I'm ready for a year long challenge. I think I'm going to love having an element from every single day of 2017 documented. And because I like the idea of a reward for myself, I think I'd like the whole project to culminate in creating a photobook of my favorites.
Since I'm not looking to turn my blog solely into a photo journal, I will only be posting my results once a month (possibly just whittled down to a gallery of my favorites, possibly with a link to the full month's collection. Who knows?).
I do know that I always love having some support along the way, so if you're interested in taking on this challenge too, please let me know in the comments! If you're on Instagram or Twitter, please tag your photos with #scribblesnaps so I can find you and cheer you on. If you're doing this and posting on your blog, I'd love to link up with you, so let me know!
Here's to 2017: the year we all snap at least a little!
