You deserve the goodies! The pirate things are really great. So sorry about the "pop surgery," but you're right to focus on the bright side and gear up to having some extra time to make gorgeous things. It will all be just fine!

Shelley

Look at all that gorgeous yarn! Can't wait to see what you make with it! Hope the surgeries will go well and that you'll not have any of those horror stories you've heard about happen to you!

Gina

I can't blame you, they sure are beautiful!

Hey, good luck with the sugery and no worries! I had brain surgery last summer and am pretty much back to normal now. You'll have time off, fun painkillers, and time to work on some crafts. And with any luck you'll just need one surgery instead of several.
So get as much yarn as you need, and don't worry about the blog for a while - when you're back you can post pictures of all the incredible things you made! And if you make nothing at all and just watch TV, that's fine too. Best of luck entertaining yourself, I know you'll be fine.
